Formally incorporated in March 2025 as the Sudanese Financial Technologies Company Limited, SADAD was born out of a strategic alliance of 13 Sudanese banks, supported by the Sudanese Banks Union and Bravo FinTech.
The initiative began with a Memorandum of Understanding signed in December 2024, which laid the foundation for a collaborative Instant Payment System (IPS) capable of processing transactions 24/7—even in areas with low or no connectivity
Powered by SADAD Bahrain’s regional fintech infrastructure, SADAD PAY enables real-time transactions within 180 seconds and serves as a national platform for both digital cash delivery and program monitoring.
Today, SADAD is more than a payment tool—it is a mission-aligned, humanitarian-grade infrastructure built for transparency, inclusion, and local accountability in one of the world’s most complex humanitarian environments.
